WORLD – LONDON
Activists from Led By Donkeys stopped traffic outside the Russian embassy and, using wheelbarrows, brooms and over 300 litres of paint, painted 500 square metres of the roadway in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

“Ukraine is an independent state and a nation with all the rights to self-determination,” the activists said, adding that a huge Ukrainian flag outside the embassy would remind Russian President Vladimir Putin of this.
During the rally, four participants were detained for damaging infrastructure and obstructing traffic. The police said the detainees, three men and one woman, remain in custody.
Representatives of Led By Donkeys claim they used non-toxic, solvent-free, quick-drying, washable paint to paint the artwork on the streets.
