Before the hit Russian T-72 tank arrives at the Viimsi Military Museum, the Estonian Defence Ministry intends to exhibit it not only in Tallinn, but also in Rakvere, Jþhvi, Narva, Tartu, Vþru, Viljandi and Pärnu, the ERR reports.
On 23 February, Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur sent a letter to local municipality heads in which he announced the Ministry’s intention to display the tank in various Estonian cities from 25 February until the end of March.

The tank is currently on Vabaduse Square in Tallinn and will remain there until 2 March.
The tank will be on display in Rakvere from March 2-5, in Jþhvi from March 5-8, in Narva from March 8-11, in Tartu from March 11-14, in Vþru from March 14-17, in Viljandi from March 17-20 and in Pärnu from March 20-23.
In a letter to the local government heads, Pevkur promises that the Ministry of Defence will take over the security of both the tank’s transport and the demonstration.
The Ministry of Defence also wants the tank to be displayed preferably in the city centre and in a place that is convenient for walking.
