LATVIA – The Mikhail Chekhov Theatre.
On the eve of its 140th anniversary (the anniversary date is 2 October 2023) The Mikhail Chekhov Theatre has launched a special magazine about everything that makes the Russian theatre as seen by the audience and recognized by its performances.
The magazine contains information about the history of the theatre and its legends, as well as photographs of the actors with texts that the actors themselves have written about each other. The journal includes recordings of conversations between actors Jacob Rafalson and Jana Herbsta, as well as many other interesting facts.
The theatre magazine can be purchased for €3.00 at the theatre’s box office or in the foyer before the performances.
