The available funding from the Recovery Fund is intended for local governments to provide free travel for students to and from their educational institution or other place of study in environmentally friendly vehicles. As a result of the investment, at least 15 environmentally friendly vehicles are planned to be purchased and handed over to municipalities.

Due to limited funding, one municipality can submit no more than one application for a project that does not exceed €666,660. The project can include the purchase of at least one electric bus (M2 or M3 zero-emission class) and, if necessary, the establishment of charging infrastructure to support its operation.

If the project plans to purchase a zero-emission category M2 vehicle or a vehicle converted to a zero-emission vehicle, it is a condition that the funding of the Recovery Fund per vehicle does not exceed €300,000.
