LATVIA – Ministry of Culture (31/10/2022)
According to the Latvian Ministry of Culture, seminars will take place in November 2022 in Talsi, Valmiera and Rēzekne to cover as wide a range of regional media as possible.
The aim of the training is to increase the skills and knowledge of regional media professionals on media transformation and the promotion of digitalisation, including adapting content for different digital platforms.

On the one hand, participants will be able to learn about global practices and Latvia’s experience in content monetisation processes, as well as learn more about the experience of DELFI’s news portal editorial team in this field. On the other hand, participants will be able to learn more about digitising and adapting content for different platforms from the perspective of Latvian television news service.
At the end of the training, journalists will also have the opportunity to take part in a hands-on session exploring open access applications that are easy to use in their daily work with content adaptation.
Participation in the training is free of charge and participants will also have the opportunity to receive a certificate from Vidzeme University of Technology’s Knowledge and Technology Centre for attending the advanced training seminar.
