Skiing is now only for the rich

That is what «Grani.lv», claims.
After new prices at the ski slopes near Cēsis – Ozolkalns and Žagarkalns – Twitter user Edgar wrote: «You can go to the mountain only on payday! For my family, a three-hour skiing trip will cost more than €100».

At Ozolkalns, 1 hour of lift use for adults costs €15, 2 hours €20 . For children under 15 years old, pensioners and disabled people it is cheaper: 8 to 17 euros. For children under 7 years old it’s free.

At Jagarkalns, lift use is €20 per hour, €25 for 3 hours. 1 hour for children is €10, 3 hours is €12.

3 hours for children under 7 is €6. For seniors and disabled on weekdays 1 hour – 10 euro, 3 hours – 12 euro.
